Retention & Student Success
Improved retention rates are the outcome of increased student success and satisfaction. Performa Higher Education provides a wide range of research-driven practical recommendations that can have immediate and long-term effects on student satisfaction and achievement. Performa Higher Education’s RetainUSM begins with a wellness check on the health of your campus’ retention culture. We’ll work with you to develop and implement practical strategies that yield tangible results.
Our services include in-depth assessments of all systems and programs on campus related to student success as well as modular workshops that include the creation or renovation of best practice retention programs.
PowerALERT® is our research service for student retention. This research service utilizes leading indicator predictive modeling, ranking your incoming new students’ probability of persistence before they arrive on campus. Such early awareness allows you to fully implement retention programs and interventions long before the traditional red flags of mid-term grades or pre-registration. Combined with highly functioning retention systems, PowerALERT® provides substantive immediate results, as early as spring semester, and creates the foundation of strategic retention plans for long-term enrollment health.
Moving the Needle
In response to the complexity of student success, colleges and universities have developed a myriad of programs and services to help meet the needs of students. These programs cross multiple divisions on our campuses today, involving programs in residence life, student affairs, academic affairs, financial aid, student support services and can strongly impact decisions about facilities.
The purpose of the Moving The Needle (MTN) project is to strengthen resources for student success that will result in improved student achievement, satisfaction and sense of fit in order to positively influence retention and graduation rates. Our team of experienced consultants provides a comprehensive assessment, review and program development over the course of 12-18 months. We build an integrated, campus-owned model customized for your institution to support student success on your campus.
