Presidential Research

At Performa Higher Education our vision is to help small, private colleges and universities THRIVE. As part of this vision we have been conducting research on just what it takes for an institution to be successful and have developed a framework of what it takes for a small, private college or university to thrive.

Our research is based on work with our more than 200 client campuses and our conversations with more than 75 small, private college and university presidents. What we have come to know is that thriving institutions have a strong foundation that includes a shared vision, a habit of reflection and institutional self-esteem. Additionally, these thriving institutions have courageous and collaborative leadership, a culture of planning and innovation, focus on student success, have healthy revenue streams and implement best practice transformational environments.
