Tom Gavic, PresidentAs one of the founders of Performa Higher Education, Tom has developed new business opportunities and alliances in the private higher education market, and is committed to communicating and implementing the Performa Higher Education brand promise -- creating high performance experiences that positively impact people's lives. Tom has led the creation of a unique higher education team that brings experience in Strategic Planning, Administrative Solutions, Campus Master Planning, and Facility Design. Many on this team have served as Executive Officers of Private Colleges and Universities. The integration of this unique team with a dynamic consulting approach called PerformaNCE® has now positioned Performa Higher Education as a recognized resource in the private higher education marketplace.
Joanne Soliday, Executive Vice PresidentJoanne is the Executive Vice President of Performa Higher Education. She specializes in organizational development and administrative solutions for small private colleges. Joanne has consulted at independent colleges nationwide for the past 15 years as a strategic planner, leadership development facilitator, executive coach, enrollment management and fundraising consultant. Prior to joining Performa Higher Education, Joanne was associated with Elon College, NC for 18 years, serving in several positions. She was associate dean of students, dean of admissions and financial planning, assistant to the provost and director of institutional relations.
Bill Fahrner, Planning Consultant & Director of OperationsBill Fahrner is Planning Consultant and Director of Operations of Performa Higher Education. His consulting experience is in the areas of enrollment management and fundraising, having served in four interim vice presidential roles including two in enrollment management and two in advancement. Prior to joining Performa Higher Education, Bill was associated professionally with West Virginia Wesleyan College for five years, serving in several positions including advancement associate, assistant director of development, and director of alumni relations. He performed various admission functions, fundraising initiatives, public relations, alumni relations, marketing and communication tasks. As Director of Operations at Performa Higher Education, Bill manages the areas of business and finance, technology, marketing, and facilities for the firm.
David Mee, Senior Consultant & Director of Enrollment SolutionsDavid Mee is Senior Consultant and Director of Enrollment Solutions for Performa Higher Education. David's consulting work is based on 20 years of experience in enrollment management. Previously, he served as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Milligan College, overseeing undergraduate and graduate admissions, as well as student success (retention programming). He also served as Director of Admission at Samford University and Houghton College. In his role at Performa Higher Education, Mee manages the firm's college enrollment consulting services. His expertise in the foundational issues of enrollment management has given him the unique tools and skill sets necessary to assist clients in building for sustained enrollment growth.
Tim Fuller, Senior Consultant & Director of Strategic SolutionsTim Fuller is a Senior Consultant for Performa Higher Education. Mr. Fuller has over 25 years of enrollment management experience. Prior to joining Performa Higher Education, he served as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Houghton College, supervising admission, student financial services and church relations. In this role, he also coordinated student persistence efforts. Tim has served as a member of three different Middle States Accreditation Review teams as well. He currently directs strategic planning solutions for Performa Higher Education's college and university clients. Mr. Fuller's expertise in enrollment management also positions him well to assist with client's enrollment management needs.
Ryan Morabito, Director of Marketing Solutions & Senior ConsultantRyan joined Performa Higher Education after spending several years as a Marketing Consultant at Carnegie Communications. While at Carnegie, Ryan assisted many private and public institutions by providing customized marketing and communication solutions. Prior to working at Carnegie, Ryan served as Director of Marketing & Communications at West Virginia Wesleyan College. While at Wesleyan, Ryan assisted the college in gaining national media attention for the College's information technology initiatives including placements in the USA Today and New York Times. Ryan received his B.S. degree with a double major in marketing and psychology and his M.B.A. from Wesleyan. Ryan will be responsible for strategic marketing oversight and client interaction.
Patrick Smith, Director of Facilty Planning & DesignPatrick is the Director of Facility Planning and Design for Performa Higher Education. Patrick has more than 15 years of experience leading numerous multi-disciplinary project teams on a variety of complex projects. He is known for his ability to build consensus and effectively manage the interests of multiple constituencies. Projects that Patrick has supervised include educational, hospitality, commercial, corporate, health care and a broad range of renovation projects.
Terry Higgins, Director of Site DesignAs Director of Site Design, Terry is an integral member of Performa's Higher Education Team. Terry has focused his career on developing successful campus master plans, plans that are rooted in the understanding of an institution's mission and strategic plan. These plans and solutions also require an understanding of an institution's organizational, operational and functional requirements. These requirements, coupled with an analysis of the existing facilities and site conditions, create a powerful strategy for long-term planning and growth. By working with the leadership team of a client institution, and integrating a multi-disciplinary planning team in the development of a campus master plan, Terry is able to strategically guide the future development of an institution's physical environment. This approach and Terry's passion for higher education have created successful campus master plans and institutional solutions for many colleges and universities.
Carolyn Glime, Director of Campus PlanningCarolyn Glime is Director of Campus Planning for Performa Higher Education. Since joining Performa Higher Education in 1996, Carolyn has provided ongoing planning and architectural services to colleges and universities across the United States. Specifically, she has led programming efforts, master planning efforts, conceptual design efforts, and facility planning efforts for these colleges and universities. Prior to joining Performa Higher Education, Carolyn's experience included five years of facilities master planning, programming, conceptual design, project coordination and management for the State University Construction Fund (the construction "arm" of the State University of New York's 34 campuses). She was responsible for planning/architectural efforts at Potsdam College, the University of Buffalo, Cortland College, and the College of Technology at Canton. |
