Are you convinced that your student life programming is enhancing the experience of every student?
For centuries, independent higher education has believed in educating the "whole student". Today, that means providing positive opportunities outside the classroom to complement the traditional academic experience. Residence halls, student unions, career centers, community service offices, student organizations, health and counseling centers, and recreation spaces can all be locations of learning. Campuses must be committed to supporting student satisfaction, student involvement and leadership development. At Performa Higher Education, we encourage colleges to take a developmental approach to student living and learning - we refer to that as the Journey of IndependenceTM (J.O.I.™). The Student Life ACE will thoroughly evaluate functions outside the classroom. We can help a campus identify more opportunities to connect students to their learning, and ultimately to their alma mater.
